Three grape varieties were used for the production of this wine: Cabernet Franc 60%, Merlot 30% and Petit Verdot 10%. At the same time, the Merlot grapes were left in the vineyard until the beginning of November, and Cabernet Franc until the first frosts. Wine from such "raisinized" grapes is produced only in good years, when there is no fungal disease on the grapes.
In the frost, moisture evaporates from the berry and as a result the wine is richer in taste. Also, due to the higher sugar content in the berry, after fermentation, a greater amount of alcohol is formed in the wine - 15%. The dress of the wine is dark cherry color with ruby hues. The wine has a bright, complex aroma with notes of black berries, prunes,
cherry jam. Full-bodied with a buttery structure and expressive velvety tannins on the palate, at the same time round and fresh with hints of cherry, black currant and chocolate. Aftertaste with nuances of red berries and smoked shades. The wine goes well with cold appetizers, stew of meat and prunes, poultry dishes,
grilled, can also be eaten without appetizers as an aperitif and with fruit.
