Wine from Villa Zvezda
Wine is made from about 30 types of native varieties. The reserve of the plant's capacities has been produced with a huge reserve. The expansion of the vineyard area (about 100 hectares) allows the plant to expand, and some of the wines are sold through the Villa Zvezdy boutique chain.
At the Abrau Wine Festival, red wine was named the best with the highest awards. Wines from autochthonous grape varieties were highly appreciated. At the stands of the southern region of Russia, the Villa Zvezda winery presented a line of wines:
- Chateau South;
- Ataman;
- Cossack cellars.
The renowned tasters have selected the best wines for their restaurants.
Among them was the wine from Villa Zvezda "Ataman", which was highly appreciated by famous sommeliers, world-class experts and ordinary visitors.
Production capacity
Modern production facilities are amazing:
- The newest mash-pumps with filters through clay, universal fermentors for white and red wines.
- Designs are provided for breaking the mash during fermentation in the production of red wines.
- The entire technological process is controlled by temperature controlled sensors.
- Convenient mobile inspection ladders make the work of winemakers easier.
- A plate filter and a chiller are installed to cool the wine.
- Draw tables are equipped.
The wine tasting room is decorated with paintings. The bottling shop is equipped with the latest equipment: semi-automatic labeling machines, cap flatters, cork and crust stoppers, and others. There is a laboratory.
Don winemakers have been producing wines for over two thousand years. This land has all the conditions
including climatic ones, for the development of viticulture and winemaking from unique aboriginal varieties.
